Comments On: “You’re Just ‘Religion X’ Because You Were Raised in it.”

1) Equivocal Evidence–This equally undermines any form of atheism that people were reared in at home or in college.
2) Non-sequitur–if an idea is true, it does not matter if one was raised in it or if they came to it purely on their own.
3) Generalization–this is a statistical probability at best.
4) If Religion X were true, or had elements of truth, people SHOULD try to rear other people in it, insofar as it is true.
5) On the flipside, atheists shouldn’t raise their kids to be skeptical, atheists or agnostics lest their kids one day suffer the horrifying fate of being accused of being “cradle atheists,” non-believers because they were raised in non-belief.
